A 13-year-old girl is traumatised after being raped and filmed by three teenagers in Tarakan

The Tarakan City Society in North Kalimantan was shocked by the circulation of a disturbing video of a 13-year-old girl being raped one after another by three teenagers. It didn’t take long for the three teenagers to be arrested.

The victim was traumatized by the incident and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.

The Tarakan Police Satreskrim Resmob Unit team acted immediately and arrested three perpetrators who had raped a 13-year-old girl.

Of the three perpetrators arrested, two were minors, namely the two with the initials FK and DF, who are both only 16 years old. Another perpetrator with the initials RM is now 24 years old.

The investigation of this case began when the victim’s parents learned about the pornographic video that was circulating but was played by their child. The victim’s parents, who did not accept this, finally reported it to the Tarakan Police on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

“Regarding the chronology of the incident, it occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. WITA. At that time, the reporter, who was the victim’s parents, received information that his son had been sexually abused by the perpetrators in the Juwata Kericil area, near the Bengawan Dam. After that, the victim’s parents filed a complaint with the Tarakan Police,” said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Tarakan Police, AKP Randhya Sakhika Putra, on Tuesday, May 28.

Randhya said that the rape was initially committed by suspect FK, after which the other two suspects followed one after another. Ironically, the immoral acts of the three suspects were recorded and then circulated on social media.

The three perpetrators are currently being held at the Tarakan Police Headquarters Remand Prison. The victim, who is still traumatised by the unfortunate incident, has since completed rehabilitation with a child psychologist from the Women and Child Protection Unit (PPA) at the Tarakan Police Headquarters.
