Missing woman found dead, eaten by alligator in Clear Lake Bayou

A missing woman was pronounced dead after Houston police said she was found eaten by an alligator in a bayou in Clear Lake.

Houston Police Department Lt. Larry Crowson said people were searching for the woman on Tuesday when they found her in the bayou near Brook Forest Drive.

Investigators are trying to determine whether the woman was killed by the alligator or whether she died in some other way and was later eaten by the alligator.
