Three-vehicle crash in Daviess County under investigation.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning on I-69.

The sheriff’s office said investigators are currently trying to identify those involved, notify families and reconstruct the course of events.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident.

Three people from a vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

The sheriff’s office says more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
