Cambria coroner: 18-year-old dead, investigation ongoing | WTAJ

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) – An 18-year-old is dead after his family found him at the bottom of a pool in Johnstown.

At 11:57 a.m. on May 26, family members found 18-year-old Tahjamir Seeney at the bottom of the Holiday Inn pool, according to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees. They were able to pull Seeney from the pool and began life-saving measures while 911 was called and emergency personnel were dispatched.

Seeney was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center but passed away at 10:49 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28. Seeney had just graduated from Greater Johnstown High School and his family was hosting a graduation party at the Holiday Inn.

According to Lees, an autopsy is scheduled to be performed later this week.
