Englewood man charged with sexual abuse of child

According to the Bergen County District Attorney’s Office, a 34-year-old Englewood man is accused of sexually abusing a child.

According to official information, Dawid S. Iwaszek was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual abuse of a youth under the age of 13. He was also accused of endangering the welfare of a child and lewdness.

Iwaszek is being held in the Bergen County Jail pending his court date.

Officials say similarities have been noted between this incident and at least two other incidents that occurred previously in Englewood and Teaneck. Authorities say those incidents remain under investigation.
