Western New York volunteers clean up in Texas after devastating tornadoes

BELL COUNTY, Texas — Volunteers in Buffalo are helping clean up after severe storms hit other parts of the country.

Communities across several states are picking up the pieces after a series of tornadoes ravaged the region.

Local and federal groups as well as an organization based in Western New York are on the ground in Texas to help clean up the damage caused by the storm.

Eight Days of Hope deployed its rapid response team to Bell County, Texas. It’s just outside of Waco.

Volunteers will help remove trees and clean up debris.
