According to officials, the accident occurred on the northbound side of SR 417 near Curry Ford Road around 2:53 p.m. The road is currently closed. According to FHP, a white Cadillac driver was traveling northbound in the center lane while a silver Chevrolet driver was traveling in the outside lane in the same direction. According to the FHP, the Cadillac driver moved from the center lane to the outside lane to avoid traffic ahead. However, the driver was unable to slow down and collided with the rear of the Chevrolet driver. There is currently no information available about the current health status of the three victims. This crash is still under investigation.
