Motorcyclist killed in accident on I-55 in Mehlville

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Missouri – A Catawissa, Missouri man was killed Monday in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 55 in southern St. Louis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the accident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on northbound I-55, just north of South Lindbergh Boulevard.

The Highway Patrol says Ronald W. Moore III was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide when the motorcycle veered off the right side of the road and struck a railing. Moore was thrown from the motorcycle.

Moore was pronounced dead shortly after 7:40 p.m. at Mercy Hospital South. He was 38 years old.
