2 Storrs Center Restaurant employees charged after workplace incidents

MANSFIELD, CT — Employees at two Storrs Center restaurants face charges following separate workplace disputes.

A 24-year-old Windsor woman was charged with third-degree disturbing the peace and assault on May 20 on a warrant related to an April incident at Jefferson Fry Co.

According to an arrest warrant, an argument with a colleague initially broke out during a shift. After finishing his workday, the other employee went to his vehicle and found a tire that had been flattened by several cuts with a knife, according to an arrest warrant.

On May 23, a 66-year-old Manchester woman was served with an arrest warrant charging her with disturbing the peace and second-degree menacing for making a workplace threat at Haven Hot Chicken, according to a police report.

The woman had a disagreement with company officials and sent messages to a district manager announcing that she would return to the establishment and “shoot everyone down,” an arrest warrant states.
