TBI issues Silver Alert for missing man from Nashville, Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been missing for nearly a day.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 39-year-old Billy Splan on Tuesday evening, May 28th.


According to police, Splan has not been seen since Monday, May 27, around 5:30 p.m., when he left his apartment on Rice Road in Nashville.

Officials say Splan cannot speak and suffers from numerous health problems that may make it difficult for him to return home safely under his own power.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and grey sweatpants. Splan is about 5’5″ tall and weighs about 155 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
