Ground stop made at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston as severe storms move through area

HOUSTON – A ground stop was made at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Tuesday afternoon due to severe thunderstorms in the Houston area.

According to the KPRC 2 Storm Tracker Team, the Greater Houston area faces a threat of flooding and severe weather this afternoon and overnight.

It is not known whether this Ground Stop will be lifted today. Check back for updates.
