The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation visits The Porch to promote the upcoming career fair

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is hosting a career fair here in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, May 29th.

Zach Stults and Bill Hedrick join News 9 on the porch of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages to give a little insight into their product line in the areas of forensics, fingerprinting and more.

“We’re going to have a lot of different people from all over OSBI, from all different departments,” Hedrick said. “They’re going to have all kinds of stuff ready for you. (They’re going to) talk to you about some of the opportunities that we’re going to be offering soon.”

Hendrick enjoys his work and hopes that the career fair will also help other people find meaningful work.

“I really like my job. I’m a crime scene investigator. I like that I’m outside a lot. My job is not an office job at all, I do everything outside of the office,” Hendrick said. “I get to go out and do things and actually make a difference in the community and really help people.”
