Atlanta United’s Giorgos Giakoumakis could play against Inter Miami

“I don’t want to put him in danger,” Pineda said. “Of course we are missing some goals, we are missing some things, but we are creating.”

Central defender Noah Cobb also returned to training on Monday. He injured his ankle against Nashville. Stian Gregersen and Luis Abram started against LAFC. Pineda said Derrick Williams, who came on in the second half against LAFC, could see his minutes increase against Miami. Williams suffered a calf injury that caused him to miss nine matches.

The team will play without starting midfielder Bartosz Slisz, who is absent from the team for a pre-agreed personal matter, and without Tyler Wolff (knee).
