BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — DJ Diesel, better known as Shaquille O’Neal, is coming to Buffalo for a show this summer.

The show is scheduled for 6 p.m. August 17 at Buffalo RiverWorks.

Shaq’s Bass All-Stars at Buffalo Riverworks will feature special guests Trivecta, Levity, Gorillat and Stoned Level. You must be at least 16 years old to participate solo. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Although best known for his successful NBA career, the 7-foot-1 basketball player got his start in music at just 14 years old. He bought his first set of turntables after being inspired by the hip-hop group Public Enemy. Seven years later, his rap album “Shaq Diesel” reached No. 25 on the Billboard 100, making him the only athlete to sell a platinum album.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon here. Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10 a.m.
