Woman found dead in Miami neighborhood – NBC 6 South Florida

Miami police have launched a murder investigation after a woman was found dead in a home in the Little River neighborhood.

Officers were called to the building at 429 NE 82nd Street shortly before 8:30 a.m., where a woman was unresponsive, Miami police said.

Helicopter 6 was over the crime scene, where the house was cordoned off with crime scene tape.

Police said the victim was 42 years old but did not release her identity. They also confirmed that her death is being investigated as a homicide.
