GBPH is searching for another dog involved in a recent biting incident

Another biting incident has occurred in the Grey Bruce area and Grey Bruce Public Health (GBPH) is searching for the dog and its owners.

On May 25, at around 7:15 p.m., a teenager was bitten by a large black dog at Ed Taylor Park on 12th Avenue East.

GBPH reports that the teenager had asked to pet the dog before the incident.

The dog is said to be named Gus and was being walked by a couple with a smaller blond dog. The blond dog may be named Teddy.

GBPH wants to ensure that the dog is not infected with rabies so that the victim can avoid rabies treatment after exposure.

Anyone with information is asked to call GBPH at 519-376-9420, extension 1355.
