Report: Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is being investigated for alleged assault

The Dallas Police Department is reportedly investigating Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice for a second incident. ABC affiliate WFAA reports that Dallas police are investigating Rice for “allegedly punching a photographer at a Dallas club early Monday.” The report comes a month after Rice was involved in a hit-and-run accident in which he faces eight charges. He faces one count of serious bodily harm, one count of collision causing serious bodily harm and six counts of collision causing injury. A police affidavit said Rice was driving 119 miles per hour shortly before a six-car crash in March. Rice turned in. “Mr. Rashee Rice turned himself in today and was released on bail,” attorney Royce West, who represents Rice, said in a statement. “I would like to reiterate Mr. Rice’s continued cooperation with law enforcement. Mr. Rice recognizes his actions and has deep sympathy for those injured as a result of this accident. Our legal team is now tasked with reviewing all legal documents.”Theodore Knox The 21-year-old is also charged. Dallas police say the investigation revealed that Rice, who was driving a Lamborghini, and Knox, who was driving a Corvette, were speeding in the left lane, causing a chain reaction collision with four other vehicles.
