1 person died in motorcycle accident on the south side of Indy

INDIANANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a crash that left one person dead late Tuesday night.

According to IMPD, officers received a call about an accident in the 8600 block of Southeastern Avenue just before 11:35 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a motorcycle that had collided with a car.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died shortly after arrival.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with officers.
