Elite 2026 ATH Keisean Henderson commits to Houston Cougars

One of the nation’s top prospects in the 2026 recruiting class has made an early decision.

Houston Legacy of the School of Sports Sciences four star athlete Keisean Henderson I will stay home and play for the Houston Cougarshe announced.

Henderson is the nation’s No. 30 prospect, No. 2 athlete and No. 3 recruit in Texas in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Rankings – a weighted average that uses the top four recruiting media companies.

“It’s like a big family and I think of family above all” Henderson previously told On3. “From the first day I arrived on campus, they made me feel at home. Each coach on the staff is now like family.

New Houston head coach Willie Fritz and his staff have been recruiting the Texas star since their time at Tulane.

“They want the program to get behind me and let me play my game,” Henderson said. “That’s what I like, is that they trust me.”

In six games as a sophomore for Legacy the School of Sport Sciences, Henderson completed over 63 percent of his passes for 1,574 yards and 21 touchdowns to just three interceptions.
