The String Cheese Incident – Welcome Keller Williams to CaveJam

The String Cheese Incident spent part of Memorial Day weekend in Grundy County, Tennessee, performing at CaveJam. On Sunday, the veteran jam band played two sets, one above ground and their first appearance in the caves themselves.

During their above-ground performance, String Cheese welcomed back old friend Keller Williams for his own “Freeker By The Speaker” and the Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street.” Then SCI opened their cave performance with a fitting “Land’s End” that segued into “Shine.” The unique setting also served as a fitting backdrop for another seamless section that ran from “Windy Mountain” to “Big Reveal” to “Glory Chords.”

String Cheese will next perform in Beech Mountain, NC on June 8th.

Here’s a look at yesterday’s setlist on SCI’s Facebook page
