Forest Park murder suspect arrested in DeKalb County | News

Langston, 40, of 609 Waterway Trail, Powder Springs, is charged with first-degree murder and his initial appearance in Clayton County District Court is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28.

On August 4, 2023, Forest Park Police responded to a call at 4233 Jonesboro Road, Forest Park, where a victim had been shot in the head.

Forest Park police identified Langston as a suspect and arrest warrants for murder were obtained.

The CCSO placed Langston on its 10 most wanted list and the manhunt led investigators to a hotel in DeKalb County, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to the CCSO, the hotel room was surrounded and gas was used; Langston was arrested without incident.

Authorities found a loaded firearm in the room, the CCSO said.
