Richard Street in Newington closed after accident

NEWINGTON, Connecticut (WTNH) – Newington Police closed Richard Street around 10 p.m. Monday night after an accident that left debris and a vehicle behind.

An accident reconstruction team was on the scene when News 8 arrived to reconstruct the events. An umbrella, a shoe, other debris and a car with a blown-out window can be seen in the middle of the street, which has now been cordoned off.
