UPDATE (05/27/2024, 3:35 p.m.): Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says a middle- to late-aged African-American male teenager wearing only a bathing suit was found in a deep pond in the area. Columbus Fire and EMS rescued the boy. “The identity is unknown at this time and the coroner’s office is asking for assistance from citizens who may know of a missing teenager,” Bryan said. If you may know of a missing teenager, you are asked to call 911.
