Investigators are asking for help in solving a historic case of child sexual abuse at a primary school in Kambalda

Police are asking the public for help in solving an incident of child sexual abuse at a primary school in the Goldfields.

It is alleged that between 1978 and 1979, a primary school student in Kamblada was sexually assaulted in the classroom by a man who was neither a teacher nor a staff member but had permission to assist in the class.

The police were unable to determine the man’s identity.

Esperance detectives have appealed for anyone associated with, working or attending the primary school who may know the name or details of the man assisting teaching staff in the classroom to come forward.
