Prostitution: Girl locked up with aunt and forced into human trafficking | Aurangabad News

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 14-year-old minor, who was accompanying her sister-in-law on a work assignment, was allegedly raped and forced into prostitution multiple times between April 28 and May 25. The minor and her aunt, who is a beautician, were locked up in one of the terraced houses in Hirapur on Aurangabad-Jalna road. The minor was forcibly taken to various hotels in the city to serve the customers. City Chowk police inspector Nirmala Pardeshi said a ‘zero’ FIR was registered and the case was transferred to Chikalthana police station for further action. “The woman was working in Kolkata. She was called to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on the pretext of work. However, when they reached the city around April 22, they were locked up in a terraced house and the minor was allegedly forced into prostitution,” said Pardeshi. The woman managed to escape to Kolkata and returned to the city with her husband to rescue the girl. While they were fleeing with her in an autorickshaw on Sunday, they were ambushed by the suspects in the jurisdiction of the City Chowk police station. When local residents noticed the commotion, they called the police. Based on the woman’s complaint, the suspect and his two accomplices were booked under various sections of the IPC, including rape and under the Pocso Act.
