AS YOU MAY KNOW…the Mariners are 15-10 (.600) in 25 games at T-Mobile Park this season, the 5th-best home record in the American League and tied for the 8th-best home record in the Majors, but…DID YOU KNOW?…that Seattle is 11-4 (.733) in its last 15 home games, the 2nd best home record in the AL and 3rd best in the Majors during that span?…since April 15 , the Mariners’ home record is second only to that of the Phillies. BUTTS…the Mariners beat the Nationals by a score of 9-5 yesterday to cap the 10-game road trip on a winning note…Seattle is 15-10 at home and 13-16 on the road…Seattle has a 23-3 record (.885). ) when he scores more than 4 runs this season and 24-11 (.686) when his starting pitcher goes more than 6.0 innings.

JULIO HEATINGJulio Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with a home run, 4 RBI and 2 stolen bases in yesterday’s 9-5 win…this is the only 1+ HR, 4+ RBI, 2+ SB game by an individual in the Majors this season, the first since Jazz Chisholm Jr.-MIA (September 16, 2023) and the 2nd all-time by a Mariners player, joining Mike Cameron (May 16, 2002)… J-Rod homered during consecutive games for the 13th time in his career, looking to homer in 3 consecutive games for the 2nd time in his career (other: 08/26–08/28/2023)… in 28 Mariners wins this season, Julio hits .313 (36×115) with a .790 OPS…in 26 losses, he is hitting .200 (20×100) with a .473 OPS.

MOORE, MOORE, MOORE…over his last 18 matches (5/7-c), Dylan Moore hitting .310 (18×58) with 10 runs, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs, 9 walks and 3 stolen bases, getting on base at a .423 clip, hitting .672 with a 1.095 OPS …overall on the season, Moore leads the Mariners with 1.8 bWAR, ranking ahead Logan Gilbert (1.5) and Cal Raleigh (1.4) although Moore has only the 7th most plate appearances (158) on the team… D-Mo, who appeared in SS, LF, 2B, 3B and 1B, also has was the most valuable player in the Majors among those who appeared in more than 5 positions

ANDRÉS MUÑOZ: ALL-STAR OF THE AMERICAN LEAGUE?…right-handed Andrés Munoz has been one of the best relievers in baseball in 2024…in 21 appearances, he has gone 10 of 11 in save opportunities with 3 strikes and a 1.61 ERA (4 ER, 22.1 IP) with 8 walks on balls and 30 strikeouts… the 25-year-old is one of 7 MLB pitchers (min. 15.0 IP) with an ERA below 2.00 and more than 12.0 strikeouts per 9 innings , with Mason Miller-OAK, Cade Smith-CLE, Matt Strahm-PHI, Garrett Cleavinger-TB, Colin Holderman-PIT and Jeremiah Estrada-SD.

NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL QUALITY…the Mariners starting rotation has 31 quality starts this season…the 31 outings of 6.0+ innings and 3 earned runs or fewer by Seattle starters are tied for most in the Majors with Philadelphia…Logan Gilbert (9 QS) is tied for the most in Majors… Gilbert (9), Luis Castillo (7), George Kirby (5) and Bryce Miller (5) and the Yankees (Carlos Rodón, Nestor Cortes, Luis Gil, Marcus Stroman) are the only clubs to have 4 pitchers making 5+ QS this season.

OF COURSE HIS NAME IS “TY”Ty France provided the RBI hit in the 8th inning of yesterday’s win, his 3rd tying hit or base hit in the 7th inning or later on the road trip… as of 2021, all 22 RBI hits for the break tie and match tie in the 7th inning or higher is tied for 4th in the Majors with Kyle Schwarber and Josh Naylor, behind Adolis Garcia (26), Eugenio Suárez (25) and Aaron Judge (23).

CLUTCH TIMINGCal Raleigh has been one of the best catchers in the major leagues, tied for the most home runs (11) with Shea Langeliers-OAK…since the start of 2023, Cal has hit 10 home runs in the 9th inning or higher, tied for the most the most in the Majors in this period with Shohei Ohtani-LAA/LAD and Christian Walker-ARI.

OUT OF THE RAGSLuc Raley was red hot at the plate for Seattle, hitting .323 (21×65) with 13 runs, 2 doubles, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs, 3 walks and 2 stolen bases, getting on base at a .362 clip , hitting .539 with a .901 OPS in games May 20…the outfielder/first baseman recorded a career-high 8-game hitting streak from May 13-21, with a hitting streak of .424 (14×33) during the streak…in 19 games at T-Mobile Park. this season, Raley is hitting .314 (16×51) with 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 3 stolen bases.
