1 dead after accident on Albany Street: Delano Police

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A driver is dead following a two-vehicle crash in the Delano area Saturday morning.

According to Delano Police, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Albany Street around 8:05 a.m. on May 25.

The driver of a maroon Hyundai SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on site and cooperated. Both were uninjured.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the accident.
