Police investigate double shooting in east Phoenix neighborhood

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One man is in the hospital fighting for his life while another man is critically injured after a fight ended in a shooting in an east Phoenix neighborhood on Monday.

Shortly before 1 p.m., officers were called to the area of ​​36th and Yale Street, south of Thomas Road.

According to police, two men in two different cars got into an argument and shot at each other.

One of the men was seriously injured, while the other’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Both are currently being treated for their injuries at a nearby hospital.

Investigators are currently trying to find out more about the background to the shooting. No further information has been released.
