Yemeni forces announced that they attacked the American ship LAREGO DESERT and the Israeli ship MSC MECHELA in the Indian Ocean on Monday, continuing their military operations in support of the Gaza Strip.

According to spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Yemeni armed forces also attacked the Liberian-flagged oil tanker MINERVA LISA in the Red Sea because it had violated the Yemeni ban on entry to “Israel”.

Saree also said Yemeni forces fired several ballistic missiles at an Israeli ship in the Mediterranean.

The Yemeni armed forces also carried out two operations against two US destroyers in the Red Sea, during which they launched two drone attacks on the ships, Saree said.

The announcement of the operations came after Yemeni interim Prime Minister Abdul-Aziz bin Habtour praised the Palestinian people and the resistance alike in an interview with the news channel The Sun. Al-Mayadeenand said the Palestinian people had demonstrated a level of heroism “that no other people in the world can match.”

Bin Habtour stressed that the Palestinians should “trust that the support front in Yemen will remain with them and by their side until their last breath.”

The caretaker prime minister also stressed that Yemeni missiles had reached the Mediterranean and vowed to attack the Israeli occupation “wherever our hands, missiles and firepower reach, in support of the Palestinian people.”

The latest series of operations by Sanaa took place a few days earlier on Friday. As part of these operations, the Palestinian Navy carried out three high-level operations against three different vessels in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in retaliation for the US-British aggression against Yemen.

Saree said the first operation targeted the Israeli ship MSC ALEXANDRA in the Arabian Sea with several ballistic missiles.

The second operation, the Part of the fourth phase of escalation, the attack was carried out by the YAF’s Navy, Air Force and Missile Forces and targeted the ship YANNIS, owned by the Greek shipping company Eastern Mediterranean Maritime, as it sailed through the Red Sea.

The Yemeni spokesman confirmed that it was a legitimate attack and explained that the operation came after three ships belonging to the same Greek shipping company docked in occupied Palestinian ports on May 4 and 5.
