2 dead in fiery car crash in Wilmington

Two people were killed when the car they were traveling in crashed and burst into flames in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Two people were killed when the car they were traveling in crashed and burst into flames in Wilmington.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Alameda Street and Pacific Coast Highway.

When firefighters arrived on scene, a single vehicle was engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished, but two bodies were found inside the car.

Their identities were not immediately released. It is also unclear what exactly caused the crash.
