Ranking the Top 5 Rookies in the Houston Texans 2023 Draft Class

The foundation of the Houston Texans’ future may have been built and strengthened by the 2023 NFL Draft class. Cemented by the drafting of franchise quarterback CJ Stroud, the team found a host of other top prospects. Prospects that range from staples (Will Anderson) to potential stars (Tank Dell), among others.

The Texans’ 2023 class has really set the franchise in motion. Without this class and the performances of these players during the season, it is likely that the Texans will not open their checkbooks this offseason. It’s possible that Daniell Hunter, Joe Mixon and Stefon Diggs wouldn’t join the Texans in 2024 without the exceptional play of these rookies.

The class as a whole performed better than expected. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least, and there are no limits for a class that already looks like it could be the best ever. That said, though, among the Houston Texans 2023 rookies, which ones really take the cake? The team saw more rookies play in 2023 than expected and they all impacted the game to varying degrees.
