‘Suspicious’ death in Darke County under investigation – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DARKE COUNTY – An investigation is underway into a “suspicious” death after a woman was found dead in her Darke County home on Saturday.

According to Darke County Sheriff Mark Whittaker, officers were called to a home in the 7200 block of Gettysburg-Webster Road around 1:11 p.m. after receiving a report that friends had found an elderly lady deceased.

The body of 75-year-old Betty “Patricia” Burton was discovered in the house.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Darke County Sheriff’s Office at 937-548-2020.
