Police and SWAT respond to incident in South Salt Lake

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Several people were arrested following an incident involving police and a SWAT team in South Salt Lake.

South Salt Lake Police posted on their Facebook account that there was a “large gathering” early Monday morning where shots were fired in the area of ​​3600 S. 300 E.

According to the post, the SSLPD and the Unified SWAT Team are currently on site.

The police are currently asking the public to avoid the area.
