Former President Donald Trump attacked columnist E. Jean Carroll in a Memorial Day post on Truth Social.

“Happy Memorial Day to all, including the human scum working so hard to destroy our once great country, and the radical left, the Trump-hating federal judge in New York who, believe it or not, presided over TWO separate trials in which a woman I have never met before (a quick handshake at a celebrity event 25 years ago doesn’t count!) was awarded $91 MILLION for ‘LIBEL,'” Trump wrote Monday.

Last year, a New York jury found Trump guilty of defamation and sexual abuse against Carroll and awarded her $5 million in damages. In January, another jury found Trump guilty of defamation for making critical comments about Carroll and for denying Carroll’s claims that he sexually assaulted her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the 1990s. Carroll was awarded an additional $83.3 million in damages.
