Police on site after mass accident on the A16

Following a multi-vehicle accident, drivers are being asked to avoid parts of Spalding.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a serious multi-vehicle crash on the A16 shortly after 12:30pm (BST) on Monday.

A police spokesman said the incident is believed to have occurred in the Holbeach Road area.

Traffic data company Inrix said a section of the A16 was currently closed in both directions.
