Wilbraham man dies in rollover crash in New Hampshire

HAMPTON, NH (WWLP) – A Wilbraham man died Saturday after a car crash in New Hampshire.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, troopers were called to I-95 South in Hampton at around 5:41 p.m. Saturday for a rollover accident. The vehicle was engulfed in flames and the driver was unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle. Troopers and some good Samaritans used several fire extinguishers to get the fire under control before firefighters arrived and put it out.

During the investigation of the accident, it emerged that the 44-year-old Nicholas Killinger of Wilbraham was driving a 2013 Ford F-250 pickup truck on the southbound side of the highway when, for an unknown reason at the time, he lost control and struck a concrete guardrail in front of a toll plaza. The truck overturned and came to rest on its driver’s side just before the toll plaza.

Killinger was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
