Telangana woman killed in road accident in US – Telangana Today

According to reports, Sowmya was hit by a speeding car while crossing a road in Florida on Sunday and died instantly.

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old woman from Telangana, who was going to the US for higher studies, died in a road accident in Florida on Sunday evening. She was identified as Guntipalli Sowmya of Yadagiripalle village in Yadadri-Bhongir district.

According to reports, Sowmya was hit by a speeding car while crossing a road in Florida on Sunday, leading to her death on the spot. She had completed her master’s degree at Florida Atlantic University and was trying to find a job.

Sowmya’s parents Koteswara Rao, Balamani and other members of her family have requested the Centre’s assistance in repatriating her body to India.
