Detectives investigate shooting in Downtown Miami

MIAMI – A woman said she quickly hid under her bed with her dog, fearing for her life, after a gunshot hit her apartment window in downtown Miami on Sunday.

Residents reported feeling bullets flying. Police responded to the scene near Northeast Second Street and Third Avenue, just west of Biscayne Boulevard.

No one was injured. Investigators asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
