1 dead and 1 injured in shooting at gas station in Tracy

The death of one person is being investigated as a homicide Sunday, according to Tracy police. Tracy police said officers responded to reports of a shooting at a gas station on North Tracy Boulevard near West Clover Road around 3 a.m. Two victims of the shooting were found in the area, police said. Alexander Gabriel Aguon, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The second victim, a man, was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Police said motorists should expect road closures in the area throughout the day due to the investigation. Investigators have been compiling surveillance footage from traffic cameras and businesses in the area, according to Tracy police Detective Michael Richards.
