“A Knives Out Mystery” is scheduled to be released in 2025

Rian Johnson officially announced the third part of his Knife out Series: Wake up, dead man.

The film is set to premiere on Netflix in 2025, and Daniel Craig will reprise his role as private investigator Benoit Blanc. Plot details and the rest of the cast are yet to be announced. “I love everything about crime, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is,” Johnson wrote of X. “There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and being able to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc films.”

The last two films in the series, Knife out And Glass Onion: A Knives Out Crime Thrillerwere a success with both critics and at the box office. Glass Onion, which premiered in 2022, also premiered on Netflix after the streamer acquired the rights to two films in the franchise for $469 million.
