Suspect identified after 6 people, including 4 girls, were stabbed to death in Massachusetts

BRAINTREE – A person is facing charges after police say he attacked four girls. Cinema in Braintree before stabbing two people to death in a McDonald’s at a rest stop in Plymouth.

Four girls attacked in cinema

At around 6 p.m., 26-year-old Jared Ravizza entered a movie theater at AMC Braintree 10 without paying and stabbed the four young girls to death. The mother of three of the girls said they were between the ages of 9 and 17 and were the only people in the theater who had seen the movie “IF.”

“They had just sat down and got their refreshments. I guess he came up from behind them, they were sitting in the second row. He came up from behind them. My oldest leaned over to get something, he grabbed her from behind. My other daughter on the chest. My youngest daughter across her arm,” Lisa Dembowski said.Laughing all the time. Then (he) stabbed her boyfriend and ran away. The two older girls chased him outside, then they realized what was going on.”

“They said they all went out and told the people at AMC. AMC didn’t believe them, didn’t really do anything, and they had to call the police themselves,” Dembowski said.

The four girls were taken to hospital and are all expected to recover.

“I’m shocked. Someone must have known something was wrong with him before all this happened and nobody did anything,” said Braintree resident Krisha Ellis.

WBZ-TV reached out to AMC for comment on their safety protocols but did not immediately receive a response.

McDonald’s employee stabbed at Plymouth rest stop

According to police, Ravizza fled the scene in a black SUV. About an hour later, they allegedly stopped at a rest area on Route 3 in Plymouth, where they stabbed two McDonald’s employees. Both employees were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

A witness took note of the car’s license plate and police said it was registered to Ravizza.

Ravizza drove away after the stabbings and police said they were taken into custody in Sandwich. They were charged with assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with the Plymouth stabbings.

According to I-Team sources, Ravizza is also wanted in connection with a murder that occurred early Saturday in Connecticut.

“Now the family has to deal with the consequences, and these young people have to deal with the consequences,” Ellis said.
