Sheriff’s office says investigation underway after death in Bean Station, Tennessee

BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WATE) – Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are assisting the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation of a death in Bean Station.

The sheriff’s office announced Sunday afternoon that the TBI was assisting in the investigation of a death along Rocky Springs Road in Bean Station. The TBI’s assistance was requested by 4th Judicial District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation is still ongoing.
