Burlington County District Attorney LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Captain Ian Bucs announced that a 45-year-old Willingboro man was shot and killed outside a Willingboro bar.

The shooting occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on May 21 at the Diamond Dogz Social Club, located in the first block of John F. Kennedy Way. The investigation revealed that numerous people were outside when a dark-colored vehicle appeared on the street and crept slowly while a gunman fired several shots into the crowd from the vehicle.

Major Hamilton was shot in the chest and taken to Virtua Willingboro Hospital, where he died a little over an hour later. No arrests were made.

The investigation is being conducted by the Burlington County District Attorney’s Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department. The lead investigators are BCPO Detective Shannon Sawyer and Detective Katie White, and WTPD Detective Brandon Norris.
