Teenager killed, another person injured in accident in Hamilton

BUTLER COUNTY (WXIX) – A teenager was killed and another person was injured in a car crash in Hamilton early Sunday morning.

According to a sergeant with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office’s dispatch center, officers responded to a car crash in the 4800 block of Cincinnati Brookville Road just before 2:30 a.m.

A teenager who was sitting on the passenger side died in the accident, the sergeant confirmed.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the driver was injured, but the severity of the accident is still unclear.

The department told FOX19 that the victim’s name would not be released because he or she is a minor.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
