GloRilla accused of stealing $400,000 from Atlanta investor after failing to fulfill contractual obligations

Rap star GloRilla has reportedly been the subject of an ongoing lawsuit over an alleged six-figure contract disagreement.

An Atlanta investor recently accused the Memphis native of letting her musical success make her “arrogant,” saying she tried to back out of a partnership deal they made when she was already paid.

The plaintiff, an Atlanta-based entrepreneur Aristotle Varner Jr.., raised the subject during a recent interview on Morning hustle. He stated:

“GloRilla, she stole money from me… I paid her money – over six figures – to do something for me and she didn’t complete the tasks. He still has two tasks left to complete, and it’s under contract.

Continuing, Aristotle Varner Jr. explained that he had first signed the agreement with GloRilla, real name Gloria Hallelujah Woods, when she was already “big”, but guesses she has since become arrogant because of her success. As you may know, the 24-year-old has certainly made a breakthrough since taking the female rap scene by storm with her 2022 Billboard-charting single “FNF.”

From, GloRilla went on to have 3 more singles on the Hot 100 and land features from rap stars CardiB And Megan you stud, the latter for which she is currently opening a tour. Although he did not go into details of the trial, Aristotle Varner Jr. later shared in the interview that he was still arguing the case in court, stating:

“And I’m still going to court over this… it’s been a year, since March of last year.”

As one report notes, a lawsuit making congruent allegations against GloRilla first surfaced in September last year. The court complaint alleged the rapper received more than $400,000 to promote the plaintiff on social media, participate in a collaborative Instagram post and hold a 30-minute meeting and interview with a business coach. The report also notes that GloRilla And Varner appeared together in a Tik Tok video last February promoting by Varner affairs, seemingly confirming their professional relationship.
