Truck accident: Fatal accident on Mumbai-Nashik highway | Thane News

Thane: One person was killed and three others injured when a truck skidded and fell on their car on the Mumbai-Nashik highway in Thane district on Sunday. The accident occurred at 1.30 am at Mankoli on the highway when the car was heading towards Nashik and the truck, bearing Karnataka registration number, was heading towards Mumbai, police inspector Mahesh Patil said. One of the car occupants was crushed to death while three others were injured and were taken to a hospital in Bhiwandi. The body has been sent to a government hospital for post-mortem, police said.
