Memorial Day Severe Weather Warning

Memorial Day Severe Weather Warning

PART OF THE DAY. HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE RAINSHOTS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE SOUTH AND WEST. YOU ARE ARRIVING NOW AS THERE ARE TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS IN ISSUE TO THE WEST. ONE OF THEM AFFECTS GREENE AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES. THAT WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 7:00 AM AS THESE RAINSHOTS AND THUNDERSTORM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH AND EAST. AND WE WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO MONITOR THESE WARNINGS IN A SORT OF STAIRCASE ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING HOURS. IF YOU GO OUT TONIGHT, BE SURE TO BRING RAIN GEAR. AND AGAIN, IF YOU SEE LIGHTNING OR HEAR THUNDER, THAT’S YOUR REASON TO GO INSIDE AND LET THE STORM PASS BEFORE YOU GO OUT AGAIN. SO THESE STORMS SHOULD MOVE NORTH AND EAST AGAIN. BY 9:10 AM THEY SHOULD BE DIRECTLY NORTHEAST OF THE CITY. BY 10 AM MOST OF US SHOULD BE GONE. THEN WE’RE EXPECTING SOME TRANSIENT RAIN OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW, AND WE’RE ALSO EXPECTING RETURNING THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MORNING AFTERNOON. WE COULD EXPERIENCE A STORM IN THE MORNING, STORMS ARE LIKELY IN THE AFTERNOON, SO TOMORROW IS ANOTHER SEVERE WEATHER WARNING DAY. THOSE STORMS WILL ALSO LOSE INSTINCT INTO THE EVENING HOURS, AND WE WILL BE WATCHING FOR SPOKEN CHANCES OF SHOWERS ON TUESDAY. IT’S NOT A FAST BEAT, BUT THERE WILL BE RAIN SHOWERS, AND THEN WE WILL TURN THE COVERAGE BACK A LITTLE AS WE TURN TOWARDS WEDNESDAY. THERE WILL STILL BE RAIN SHOWERS, BUT IT WILL BE A LOT COOLER AS TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY STAY IN THE 15-16 DEGREES ON WEDNESDAY. IT’S CLOUDY IN THE EYE. CAM. THIS CLOUDS WILL INCREASE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR SO BEFORE THE STORMS REACH THE CITY. 81 IS THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE. THE WIND IS COMING FROM THE SOUTHEAST AT 5 KM PER HOUR. SO WE’LL STAY WITH THE SEVERE WEATHER WARNING AGAIN AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS AND THEN AGAIN THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW. SO JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MULTIPLE OPTIONS TO GET ALERT AND WARNINGS OR ALREADY GET ALERT AS THEY ARE ISSUED THROUGH THE REST OF THE EVENING. WE START TOMORROW AT 66, END AT 77, AGAIN THAT’S NOT A DISAPPEARANCE FOR YOUR MEMORIAL DAY. JUST BE AWARE YOU’LL HAVE TO BE EVASIVE OF RAINDROPS. UNITED RAINSHOTS ON TUESDAY, 73. SOME LEFTOVER RAINSHOTS ON WEDNESDAY AT 65 WILL FINALLY DRY. THURSDAY, AND WE’LL GET BACK TO 80 AS WE HEAD UP TO NEXT WEEKEND. BEWARE THERE MAY BE SOME SHOWERS NEXT SUNDAY. OTHERWISE
