2 injured in shooting near Brookhaven intersection, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Brookhaven police say two people were injured in a shooting near a Brookhaven intersection Sunday afternoon.

Police said they responded around 5:30 p.m. to a reported shooting in the area of ​​Johnson Ferry Road and Ashford Dunwoody Road.

“Officers located one of the parties ‘in the area’ and the other party had already been transported to an area hospital due to an apparent gunshot wound,” a police spokesperson said of Brookhaven in a press release.

The condition of the victims appears “critical but stable,” the spokesperson said.
