Investigation underway into car that rolled over at Mifflin Street Block Party – The Badger Herald

Madison police had identified 31 suspects investigate a car that was overturned and damaged during the unsanctioned Mifflin Street Block Party on April 27.

More than 150 officers were assigned to the attention-grabbing event largest voter turnout of people since the pandemic. The car rolled over around 2:40 p.m. and officers quickly cleared backyards along the 500 block of Mifflin Street afterward. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made as a result of the incident.

Investigators are reviewing videos showing the damage as it occurred and collecting still images of people suspected of being involved in the incident. MPD will consider those who come forward and take responsibility, but said those who do not come forward will be arrested and taken to jail.
