Police officers arrested for rape

Two Pretoria police officers were arrested for the rape of a teenager.

According to a report from News24, Officers intervened in an argument between the girl and her boyfriend at a tavern in Atteridgeville.

The officers, aged 22 and 51, then agreed to take them home.

The police officer at the wheel is said to have stopped the vehicle while it was moving and then raped the 17-year-old girl in the back of the car. The other police officer is also said to have raped her.

The incident was reported to the police after the girl told her sister about the incident.

The two officers will appear in court on Thursday.
